Job Summary:
You will play a role in the reintegration process of offenders and ex-offenders by providing administrative support. You will work with partners (employers and other agencies) to assist ex-offenders in securing employment.
Job Scope:
- Acts as the main contact person between employer, clients, and other stakeholders for assigned clients during job matching process.
- Liaises with employers to confirm the employment terms for assigned clients.
- Coordinates with prison officers for the successful administration of inmates on Community Based Programmes.
Facilitates all employment-related communication and documentation including:
- Creating a standard mail merge with the information provided by relevant stakeholders.
- Calling clients and employers to confirm on employment details and resolve any discrepancy.
- Preparing Referral Letters to relevant stakeholders for successful job placement of clients.
- Responding to emails from employers and stakeholders.
- Updating of job placement records and other databases.
- Arranging interviews for clients who are unemployed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree
- Relevant experience in office clerical and administrative support work and coordination.
- Experience in providing career advisory will be an advantage.
- Process drive, initiative and openness to embrace and lead change and deliver results
- Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Good negotiation skills and able to multi-task.
- Working knowledge MS Office.
- Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector.
