We're seeking an Application Production Support Analyst to join our dynamic team, providing worldwide support for Supply Chain and regional assistance for Trade Finance applications within Asia Pacific. You'll play a key role in ensuring a stable and resilient production environment, addressing complex issues, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Application Support:
- Provide global application production support for Supply Chain and regional support for Trade Finance systems.
- Independently troubleshoot and propose resolutions for complex production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and manage resulting action items to completion.
- Coordinate across teams to manage production issues and maintenance activities.
Communication and Coordination:
- Respond to user requests, incidents, and problems promptly.
- Report, track, follow up, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
- Communicate status updates on issues to business users, management, and stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a competent level of expertise in ORACLE PL/SQL.
- Demonstrate good technical troubleshooting and debugging skills, including familiarity with Unix/Linux commands.
- Understand JAVA/J2EE web-based applications and their infrastructural requirements.
Additional Technical Advantage:
- Experience with various technologies and tools.
- Knowledge of security practices, cryptography, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
- Database performance and SQL tuning experience are a plus.
- Experience with release and patch deployment; hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere is advantageous.
Functional Skills:
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain and Trade Finance.
- Understanding and experience in ITIL concepts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT major.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a combination of technical and functional skills.
Experience:
- Strong background in application production support.
- Technical expertise in JAVA/J2EE/TIBCO platform.
- Experience supporting Supply Chain and Trade Finance applications.

- Strong team player with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet keen to escalate issues timely.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on-call support.
