Job Overview:

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee inventory operations, coordinate with various teams, and contribute to the seamless functioning of the fulfilment process. Provide day-to-day operational support for e-marketplace initiatives, ensuring smooth customer servicing.


Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

Implement and maintain effective inventory management procedures.

Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

Monitor and analyse inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Collaborate with the purchasing team to optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.

Order Fulfilment:

Coordinate with the order processing team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer expectations.

Implement and optimize order processing workflows for efficiency.

Warehouse Organization:

Implement and maintain an organized warehouse layout for efficient product storage and retrieval.

Ensure proper labelling and signage for easy identification of products.

Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment.

Collaboration and Communication:

Plan and coordinate logistics for channel-related activities, events, and campaigns.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure everyone is aware of inventory status and any potential challenges.

Performance Analysis:

Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

Continuous Improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in warehouse and inventory management. Ad-hoc Duties:

Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.


Qualifications:

Experience in e-commerce warehouse operations and inventory management.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfilment.
