Role Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager, Network & Infra who will lead the transformation of our clients’ company's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for the network transformation, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and meets business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network operations, cloud engineers, PMO and Store Tech to deliver a reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure. You will drive the network transformation project.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement the network transformation strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work closely with the 3rd party development teams both onshore and offshore to ensure that all blockers or issues are being dealt with in a timely manner.
- Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize network transformation initiatives to optimize performance, enhance security, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to monitor requests for end-to-end projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement projects that meet business requirements.
- Lead the network transformation projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery of network infrastructure changes.
- Ensure that the network infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring that they meet service level agreements and contractual obligations.
- Monitor and report on network performance after delivery, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, steering committee and key stakeholders.
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, monitors, track all requests, critical path deliverables, conflicts, dependencies, risks to mitigate impact to baseline and control outcomes to resolve issues, communicating across leadership.
- Proven success in providing remote leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Executes business area plans and priorities to meet goals applying knowledge of business drivers, related areas and external market.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation related fields.
- Solid experience in project management, from planning, execution, operations to review.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse business units
- Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions as well as senior executive audiences.
- Strong work ethic and be able to proactively manage multiple projects. Drive execution and deliver results as a project manager.
- Experience in leading network transformation projects, including budget management and vendor management.
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (Plus).
