About the Job

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support and advice to the business, closely interacting with key commercial and marketing stakeholders and collaborating with various internal finance teams, including FP&A, Controllership, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Procurement. This is a dynamic, single-contributor role requiring effective management of diverse stakeholders and projects. Your primary responsibilities will span business partnering, performance management, reporting and analysis, and driving finance and planning projects.


Responsibilities:


Business Partnering:

  • Develop and maintain trusted working relationships with Marketing, Commercial, various Operations, and Finance functional teams, serving as the key finance contact between these teams.
  • Partner with Business Unit (BU) management to drive business and financial performance.
  • Lead monthly BU performance dialogues, providing insightful, timely, and value-added input on key financial topics.
  • Track the performance of various products and verticals on commercial terms such as referrals, fixed fees and exclusivity agreements.
  • Build dashboards for Brand ROI on the platform to facilitate business decisions.

Performance Management:

  • Support key initiatives including major marketing campaigns across the region, reviewing risks and opportunities related to brand investment and growth.
  • End-to-end partnership in business strategic planning, including assortment planning, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly P&L analysis at the total company and BU levels to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Advise business teams on new campaign initiatives, working with related finance functions (Tax, Accounting, Treasury).
  • Review commercial deals from a finance perspective.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Partner with the Finance Controllership team on P&L and balance sheet management.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the BU.
  • Handle all finance-related matters, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial reporting, management accounts, financial analysis, business analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the marketing and commercial domains to provide guidance and support for day-to-day activities, such as operational initiatives and projections.

Projects:

  • Drive finance and planning projects, including process improvements and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows (business/finance), propose solutions, and drive implementation.
  • Strengthen governance on marketing initiatives to reduce financial losses and improve cost efficiency.
  • Liaise with multi-cross-functional stakeholders at both regional and local levels on related business issues as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide any other ad-hoc functions as assigned by management.

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree (knowledge on Finance/Accounting or related filed)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance business partnering role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.
  • Team player who works well with under pressure and tight deadlines and ad-hocs stuffs.
  • Strong business acumen with structured analytical and numerical thinking framework
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively present financial information to non financial stakeholders
  • Meticulous, great attention to detail, good-time management and possess high level of initiative and integrity.
  • Keen interests in Commercial Fintech business with agile, fast paced and dynamic working environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point. Ability to query large amounts of data via SQL is a preferably added value capability.
  • Ability to write and speak fluently in English to communicate with cross-geographical colleagues

Good to have:

  • Prior experiences in supervising or mentoring junior team members are preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
