Responsibilities
• L1 Technical Support: Provide basic support to end-users and application teams for security tools, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Vendor Communication: Collaborate with vendors to acquire necessary updates, patches, and support for security tools.
• Alert Monitoring: Assist in monitoring security tool alerts and notifications, escalating potential issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
• Tools Inventory: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT security tools, including antivirus software, EDR, micro-segmentation, and other security solutions.
• Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile security tools inventory with active licenses and installations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate asset management.
• Reporting: Generate reports on tool inventory, license status, and reconciliation results for management and compliance purposes.
• Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of reconciliation activities, updates, and communications with vendors.
Requirements
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
• 2 to 3 years of Information Security experience
• Basic understanding of IT security principles and practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Familiarity with IT security tools and their functions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
