ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Intern, IT Operations to help with the day-to-day IT support and the management of the life cycle of the laboratory computer system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day to day IT support to the users, by attending to users’ IT issues and requests in the IT helpdesk ticketing system
- Help with the onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Assist with the life cycle management of the computer use in the laboratory, ensure the computers are accounted for, with the appropriate updated software, control and protection
- Build laptop according to the company stanard
- Upkeep of IT assets, assist with technology refresh and disposal
- Update of documentation and procedures
- Any other tasks as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Currently in a Nitec / Higher Nitec Computing course or related field
- Basic knowledge in the Windows operating software
- Comfortable in handling computer hardware
- Comfortable with Ms Office software
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent and resourceful
