About the role:
As the Credit Bureau Product Lead, you will be a leader within the department overseeing all activities of the Product team. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for our credit bureau products that supports the growth aspirations of the company.
You will:
- Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product strategy for our credit bureau offerings, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
- Identify potential products through extensive customer and market research, benchmarking global best practices and gathering market intelligence from competitors; Stays abreast of competition and market developments from product perspective
- Product Development:
- Put in place best-practice product development lifecycle practices that bring products to market, including conceptualization, business case, requirements definition, project implementation and go-to-market plan.
- Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring products meet or exceed market expectations.
- Product Management:
- Craft go-to-market strategies by working with Commercial teams to develop market entry plans, sales plans, A&P programs and targets
- Work with a team of Product Managers to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape and customer needs
- Incorporate user and market findings to develop and maintain a dynamic product roadmap for product enhancements, upgrades and evolution on a continuous basis by prioritizing features based on business impact and customer value
- Determine optimal product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing development and sales costs, anticipating volume changes with re-pricing
- Team Leadership:
- Develops and leads the Product team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Continuously remain an industry expert and maintain professional and technical knowledge by taking part in relevant conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in industry associations
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial teams and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and effective market positioning.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Business Administration, or any other related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in product development or product management, building products from scratch in Credit Bureau, Risk Management or related Financial Products industry.
- Successfully lead a team of Product Managers and managed development teams and cross-functional projects
- Executed campaigns, new product development projects and delivered business impact to P&L.
- Familiar with agile development methodologies
- Strong user-centricity to understand customers' journeys and be relentless in pursuit of improving customer experience of the products
- International experience will be an advantage to expand business within the region.
