The role which is part of the Supply Chain will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing automation capabilities, as well as developing a team of automation and maintenance technicians under the incumbent’s charge.
Job Description
- Responsible for testing, operate and maintain automated machinery
- Involve in developing and implementing Logistics System, improvement upgrades, maximize efficiency, control maintenance costs and reduce downtime.
- Prepare project materials, cost analyses, estimate yearly retrofit budget and Spare parts management.
- Train the maintenance staffs for new work methodology, observe team's Safety requirements and provide necessary instructions.
- Maintain the reliability and the performance of the all automation and networks systems in the automation layer.
- Utilize equipment Error logs, Event reports, and analysis data from computerized maintenance systems to track equipment reliability.
- Daily checklists review, records equipment PM Work on internal and external service teams.
- Maintain liaisons with other departments to provide necessary support and assist regular MOM PE inspection.
- Able to communicate with oversea IT Online support, Hotline Software Engineers in UK, Australia, Italy and understand the steps to follow up during the troubleshooting with minimum guidance
· Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field.
- Experience in automation control products such as Siemens IPC, PLC, HMI, SCADA, TIA portal, Various drives and Software hardware. Knowledge on Auto CAD, Microsoft PowerPoint and Operation System knowledge will be preferred.
- Experience with automation equipment such as Conveyors, Lifter, ASRS. Food Procession machines and robotics systems.
- Skills on the electrical testing equipment, dB readings, Inverters settings, Calibration.
- A highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and Cold Room environment in order to complete the daily Operation functions. ie, Ensuring 24-7 Up running, fast moving technologies, new concepts, complex systems and operation timescales will influence your day-to-day work.
- Strong time management skills, self-motivated and able to complete Logistics Maintenance projects, repairs or troubleshooting.
- Hand-on troubleshooting expertise and attention to details.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proven work experience in Industrial Automation System.
