Job Description & Requirements
The primary responsibility of a Restaurant Sales Manager is to develop existing business and solicit new restaurant business through restaurant lead generation and restaurant sales marketing. The sales Manager solicits new restaurant customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.
Other important duties include booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high, conducting restaurant sales presentations and restaurant sales.
· To be accountable for delivering sales volume to meet targeted sales objectives.
· To develop and promote the business relationship with individual and corporate customers.
· Work closely with the Sales Team, Banquets and F&B Manager to ensure and maintain levels of service.
· Actively engages in competitive analysis of market trends in Singapore so as to extend strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
· Finalize the menus of restaurant and social events
· Work closely with F&B Manager in determining food and beverage lists that will maintain proper costs.
· Should be able to advocate sound financial/business decision making.
· To develop and promote the sale of corporate and other events.
· Work closely with the Sales Team, Banquets and F&B Manager to ensure and maintain levels of service.
· Work closely with the Chefs in preparing menus for restaurant and corporate functions.
· Need to Work closely with Restaurant Manager to ensure proper use of restaurant space and menu pricing to maximize revenues.
· Should have significant understanding of restaurant and food preparation procedures.
· Strong ability to allocate resources to ensure timely service.
· Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Power point presentation programs.
· Ability to anticipate needs and professionally resolve issues.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
