Job Description:
- Maintain, improve, or install electrical systems and equipment for various purposes (industrial, commercial, residential).
- Use computer software and tools to perform engineering tasks.
- Create specifications, technical drawings, and maps to ensure installations meet standards and client needs.
- Coordinate installation, manufacturing, and testing to meet specifications and codes.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals.
- Solve technical issues and address concerns with different parties.
- Prepare documents like inspection plans and reports.
- Report on job progress regularly.
- Communicate effectively and resolve conflicts.
- Access technical information and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
- Guide contractors and lead operations.
- Plan and schedule work, conduct presentations, and monitor progress.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
- Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
- Degree/Master in Electrical engineering or similar or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA.
- At least 2-3 years of Experience in a marine construction/construction company is favourable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad software.
- Able to start work immediately or short notice.
