Opportunity to join a global leader in the high tech manufacturing sector as FP&A Manager, Global Revenue.
The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Director, you will oversee FP&A and business partnering for global revenue for a key business unit within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with Global Sales, Operations, and Corporate Accounting to analyze complex commercial deals and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment. Your responsibilities will include managing deferred revenue, conducting revenue reconciliations, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and analyses. Additionally, you will work with the Accounts Receivable department and global sales teams to monitor monthly AR status and minimize overdue AR.
You will stay current with accounting standards and regulations specific to revenue recognition and ensure compliance with IFRS. Last but not least, you will have the opportunity to lead process enhancements, finance systems upgrades, and contribute actively to the development of new and improved revenue reporting processes and procedures.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in FP&A/business partnering and experience in revenue recognition within a high tech manufacturing MNC
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and IFRS15
- Proven regional and/or global exposure
- Willingness to be hands-on, strong business acumen, solid communication and presentation skills and the confidence to engage with senior international stakeholders
- Proficiency with SAP (ideally ECC6 or S4 Hana)
- Prior experience in a Big Four tax firm will be ideal but not a must
