Senior Sports Executive

Singapore Cricket Club

  1. Organization, coordination and administration of all sporting activities and tournaments of the Club.
  2. Maintenance of website on sports related matters.
  3. 3. Day to day operations and administration of all sporting activities and tournaments of the Club.
  4. Working closely with the respective section committees, the incumbent is to assist in promoting and organizing all Sports and Recreation activities and events within and without the club so as to provide members with a wide spectrum of sporting programs, activities and events to participate in.
  5. To structure and develop competitive sports programs for the members.
  6. To promote and develop sports networks with other clubs as well as implement and oversee youth development programs with a view to upgrade the status of sports and recreation in SCC.
  7. Liaison and correspondence with various organizing committees, sports sections officials, National Sports Associations, vendors, contractors and other departments of the Club to facilitate said activities.
  8. Oversee matters pertaining to the sports sections allocated.
  9. Attendance at Games Control Board meetings and taking minutes of the meeting for circulation and follow-up action.
  10. Work with the Head of Sports in coordinating the preparation of the sports budget for the respective sections and monitoring the actual expenditure against budget and accounting for variance there of.
  11. Liaise with the Field Maintenance and Tournament/Events Logistic Team on the preparation of tournaments and events.
  12. Coordinate the organization of section tours.
  13. Sourcing and purchasing of kit and equipment for the respective sports sections, making recommendations on purchases to the Head of Sports where/when appropriate.
  14. To assume the duties and responsibilities of the Senior Sports Manager in the latter’s absence.
  15. Liaise closely with the Membership Department on the processing, documenting and filing of sports membership renewals and applications.
  16. Coordinate the organization of sections’ sports.
  17. Updating and liaising with the Marketing & Communications Department of weekly and monthly sports diary and reports.
  18. Preparation and distribution of sports sections’ circulars.
  19. Handle enquiries from club members, attend to visitors of sports sections and assist other department staff with their enquiries on sports-related matters.
  20. General correspondence.
  21. Any other duties as and assignments as and when assigned by the Head of Sports or any persons designated by the Management.
