Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and procure electronics components and mechanical parts from suppliers that meet specified requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favorable quantities, and agreeable delivery terms.
- Compare specifications and prices, proposing alternatives to engineers for approval.
- Issue purchase orders based on requisitions, expedite urgent materials, and resolve discrepancies between delivery orders and invoices.
- Collaborate with Finance and Stores to address any quality issues raised by suppliers and participate in annual ISO9001 & 14001 audits
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any fields
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing industry (OEM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
- Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team
- Experience in machining/metal stamping parts will be added advantage
