Location: 9 Jalan Kilang, Singapore 159409
Working Days: Mon to Fri
Working hours : 5 days work week, 8am to 6.00pm
Salary : SGD $2,400 - $3,200
Responsibilities
- Perform routine daily testing on In-Process Products, Finished Products, and raw materials, and provide test results reports.
- Ensure all laboratory testing equipment, instruments, and sampling tools are clean, dry, and suitable for use.
- Confirm that all required tests are executed according to their respective procedures.
- Help maintain the QC Laboratory, premises, and equipment in optimal condition at all times.
- Ensure retention samples are correctly labeled and stored under specified conditions according to standard procedures.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practice in all tasks.
- Conduct housekeeping tasks in the laboratory.
- Purchase laboratory chemicals and consumables.
- Assist in Packaging materials testing when the other Assistant Chemist is unavailable.
- Perform other duties as assigned occasionally.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or a related science field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in quantitative analysis using chromatographic techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
