Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Illumia Group of outlets and will be responsible for driving and increasing the group sales revenue, maximizing profitability, staff and amenities management, cost control and maintaining a high level of brand image and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Display leadership and ensure smooth operations of the day-to-day activities in all outlets.
- Responsible for driving and increasing the sales revenues of Illumia Group.
- Responsible for setting sales targets and KPIs for the team and ensuring that these targets and KPIs are met consistently.
- Lead and monitor the respective team’s performance and productivity and ensure that all team members consistently follow and comply with the Company’s SOP and industry standards. Provide coaching, training and feedback to improve teams’ performance.
- Create a positive, conducive and collaborative environment to keep the teams motivated.
- Managing and planning the monthly work roster and supervising and training new staff.
- Coordinate and arrange staff training for new products, treatment offerings, and machines.
- Serve as the liaison between management and staff.
- Address and resolve customers’ feedback and complaints effectively.
- Create and promote brand awareness to new and existing customers.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop new promotions and marketing activities.
- Assist HQ with inventory checks for yearly audits.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Beauty / Hair Spa / Aesthetics / Health & Wellness industry, at managerial/supervisory level, preferably with relevant certificates.
- Extensive knowledge & experience in hair spa, medical treatment and/or medical grade slimming body & facials massage is required for this role.
- Highly experienced in supervising/managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous with a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong industry knowledge, leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proactive team player with outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Desire to grow & develop professionally and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
- Good understanding of budget management and financial principles.
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance data.
- Flexibility to work after-work hours as needed.
