Our client is a renowned and global leader in the industrial sector. This global co is based in the Western part of Singapore (note- island wide transport to the work location is provided).
For this role, you are part of the global talent development team based at the global HQ level in Singapore which would offer experience at the global HQ level to the candidate. This role will work in a small team and report to the Talent Mgt lead/ mgr (who reports to the Global Head of HR).
Responsibilities
- Assist the TM Manager in the development and implementation of talent management strategies and framework to support the growth and success of the company.
- Assist the TM Manager in engaging senior leadership to define talent priorities & initiatives and conduct assessments of talent needs and trends, both internally and externally.
- Assist in the design and implementation of programmes to support employee development, including training, mentoring and coaching.
- Assist the TM Manager in the identification of critical talent gaps and develop strategies to address them.
- Assist the manager in cultivating a pipeline of internal and external talent to ensure a steady supply of qualified candidates.
- Assisting the TM manager in the annual performance appraisal exercise and provide guidance & support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in talent management, employee development and performance management.
- Added industry exposure gained in the manufacturing/marine/engineering/industrial sector is a plus (but not a must)
- Possess strong communication, presentation & facilitation skills and the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office.
- Open to being based in the Western location of the co and open to their official work hours (8 am to 515 pm on Mon to Thurs, and 8 am to 415 pm on Fri). Also open to working longer work hours when required
