Job Responsibilities:

- Assure sites are properly stocked with installation and test tools. And test tools are periodically calibrated per BT standards.
-Participate in the Factory Acceptance Testing in the lab and preparation of FAT plan.
- Undertake site commissioning activities of radio-based train control systems, including Functional tests and System Acceptance Test (SAT) and System Integration Test (SIT) and ensure that all interfaces to the signalling system are appropriately tested.
- Undertake test and commissioning of the On-Board, Wayside, and Radio system system
- Liaise with Engineering / supplier for any design changes and modifications necessary subject to test results
- Record, report, and endorse test results when appropriate.
- Ensuring that testing activities are carried out in timely, logical and cost effective manners.
- Work with Engineering team for the evolution of drawings (ie. mark-up, change order, and transmittals) until the as-build stage.
- Develop productive relationships with client’s teams to ensure successful handover and post-implementation operation of projects.
- Plan and schedule site ITC activities in accordance to the rolling programme, that align with the master programme
- Produce red correction based on the released drawings and
- Correct and rectify failures occurs during T&C phase.
- Raise NCR(None Confirmity) / MNCR (Material None Confirmty) / Fault report during fault found.
- Conolidate / track the following; records, software, hardwares, field changes.
- Implement field change orders
- Prepare installation and test and commissioning procedures / method statement for the communication-based train control system
- Verify the quality of installation works and raise concern if there is a quality issue.
- Troubleshooting, analysis in case of any issues encountered.
- Able to have a good collaboration with the wayside testers during interface testing.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanitronics.
- 4-6+ Years experience in relevant field
- Knowledgeable with the quality control process
- Have a good knowledge for the handover process between the installation, testing and commissioning.
- Knowledgde with linux, windows operating system and command line.
- Knowledge in networking
- Knowledge in mechanical , electrical and software troubleshooting.
- good knowledge about integration testing
- Knowledge of installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Knowledge of relevant European and International Standards
- Knowledge of engineering processes
- Experience in project realization, preferably in an international project environment
- Experience in planning, installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication and/ or fare collection railway is preferable
- Intercultural experience
- Knowledgeable with the cisco switch configuration
- Knowledgeable how to use the RF test tool, LAN cable tester, F/O OTDR tester and read the result.
- Experience of work on or around railway tracks and on vehicles.
- Good knowledge about routines after replacement and repairs of equipment.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the ITC process.
- Good knowledge about applicable test methods.
- Able to read and interpret drawings and circuit diagrams
- Good knowledge about EMC
- good knowledge with interlocking testing
