Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and implementation of business strategies to meet organizational goals within the steel products sector, focusing on steel plates, beams, and related items in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Evaluate tender inquiries by reviewing requirements, preparing necessary information for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and addressing client clarifications to prepare comprehensive tender documents and proposals.
- Negotiate with customers and suppliers to materialize and finalize contracts.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the local business environment, including relevant laws, customs, taxes, and business practices, and conduct regular market intelligence through periodic customer visits.
- Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal team members, to ensure smooth business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel products industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
