We are looking for an experienced Partner Marketing Manager specializing in Strategic or Technology Partnerships to join our team at Airwallex. You will play a crucial role in building go-to-market plans to build awareness of our integrations and strategic partnerships, and help our customers use them to the best of their ability. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns through partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a scalable demand generation engine to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth via key technology and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Partnerships, Product, and Marketing, to develop joint marketing initiatives and campaigns to launch new technology partnerships.
- Partner with the strategic partnerships team during negotiations with potential partners, ensuring favorable terms and agreements that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Produce compelling content that communicates the unique capabilities of key strategic/technology partners. Content can include case studies, sales readiness kits, playbooks, pitch decks, feature decks, product videos, web copy, white papers, demos and more.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with priority partners, serving as the main point of contact for partnership-related marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the wider regional and global marketing team to ensure alignment and integration of partnership activities with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Build the tracking/ reporting framework to assess the performance of partnership marketing activities, tracking key metrics and outcomes. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize partnership value and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in partnership/alliances marketing or related roles, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Have a track record of launching and executing successful and impactful go-to-market launches with tech partners including branding, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Have worked in highly cross-functional teams, and have demonstrated accomplishments which showcase your ability to partner with different teams across the company.
- Have some experience in building messaging, positioning and are a skilled storyteller and customer-centric in your approach to marketing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
- Are savvy at relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders/partners.
- Knowledge of the payments industry, international business, and cross-border commerce is a plus.
