Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role is crucial in harnessing the power of big data to inform strategic decisions and drive our business forward.
- The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data engineering, data analysis, and data science, with a good understanding of cloud computing.
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support various data processing and analytics needs.
- Big Data Management: Handle large-scale data sets using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and others.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency, reliability, and accessibility for analysis.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to provide the necessary data support for analytical models and insights.
- Optimization: Optimize data systems and infrastructure for performance and efficiency.
- Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) to enhance data storage, processing, and retrieval
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Strong analytical and big data skills, including knowledge of data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with data processing tools like Hadoop, Spark, ELK, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
