Responsibilities
- Identify and build technical expertise within Design and Manufacturing.
- Provide leadership direction to inspire team members, excellent technical and leadership coaching.
- Ensure design solutions and diligently planned and delivered to the cost target on time with the highest level of reliability and quality.
- Manage engineering programs with milestones.
- Collaborating with operations and quality organization to drive for best practices.
- Manage various injection moulds processes: Micro Moulding, Micro-insert Moulding, 2K Moulding, Reaction Injection Moulding, Liquid Blow Moulding, Plastic extrusion, Metal Injection Moulding, Die Casting Moulds.
- Lead in Tooling operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical design and/or engineering discipline.
- At least 15+ years' experience in developing Mechanical Design solutions for precision engineering-intensive tooling in a matrix environment.
- Experience of managing a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to perform product design development, mould designs and manufacturing of complex engineering components in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills.
