Senior Copywriter

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the fintech industry.
As the Senior Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for elevating the brand’s messages with a deep understanding of what the user wants. You work well with people and are a problem solver. You are open to multiple perspectives and thrive in creative excellence.
Role:
- Partner with the rest of the team on the technical implementation of copy and maintain voice across a wide range of deliverables, including print and digital ad campaigns, web pages, brochures, events, case studies, videos, and more.
- Collaborate and integrate with clients’ marketing, branding, creative and other teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, etc.
- Drive and inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of users through quality-driven copy.
- Ideate and execute ideas from beginning to end in a fast-paced working environment.
- Write engaging marketing emails, including for global campaigns, events and newsletters.
- Present to senior leadership, providing rationale for copy, concept, and campaign strategy
- Create original interactive copy that are exciting and innovative, and respond to the client’s business, brand and strategic objectives across the region.
- Maintain client relationships and apply business acumen to develop accounts where possible.
You:
- At least 4+ years of experience in an agency, financial services firm, and hyper-growth technology companies
- Proven ability to make complex concepts relatable and easily understandable for any audience; translating technical offerings into human terms is a big part of the job, and your ability to do that will be paramount to your success in this role
- You don’t just consider yourself a great copywriter but also an amazing creative. You love coming up with ideas as much as you love spending time crafting them!
- Your commitment will be to delivering work of the highest quality while working with team members to constantly develop new ideas, staying abreast of new media formats and learning to incorporate them into copy..
- A sharp-eyed, detailed oriented and good creative ambassador. You have a strong sense of brand voice, tone and messaging.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.
