Local Financial Reporting, Taxation & Financial Management:
- Responsible for precise accounting records for the company's local operations
- Manage tax filing tasks, encompassing corporate tax, indirect tax, and withholding tax, to optimize tax provisions and streamline compliance
- Collaborate closely with external auditors and tax agents to effectively address audit and tax-related concerns
- Act as the primary contact for all tax inquiries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential tax risks
- Enhance existing accounting processes, internal controls, and procedures for optimal efficiency and compliance
- Review and validate daily payment requests
- Fulfill other ad hoc tasks assigned by the CFO and Managing Directors
Group-Level Financial Management:
- Coordinate and support group-wide activities, including group audits, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and the implementation of the IHQ program
- Contribute to conducting of internal audits for group subsidiaries
- Assist in streamline financial processes to meet the unique requirements of the IHQ incentive program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- ACCA or CPA certification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years working in Corporate Finance in multinational companies and large accounting firms
- Demonstrated expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Navision
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in written Chinese and Mandarin speaking is preferred as the incumbent requires to liaise with o oversea counterparts
