About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking to hire an experienced Surveyor for a marine works project in the East.
Key responsibilities of the role include;
- Timely provision of effective surveying services to the project
- Implementing pertinent requirements of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) including referenced procedures.
- Establishing and /or verifying control data for the works
- Establishing the position and location of all permanent and temporary structures within the specified tolerances
- Establish and /or verifying benchmarks and recovery points
- Provide data as necessary to facilitate engineering and design
- Provision of positional verification services
- Collection of accurate As-built data
- Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities as specified
- Procurement and maintenance of survey equipment, including the organization of any equipment/instrument calibrations.
- Engineering exercises as required; volumes, earthworks, quantity take-offs
- Provide field survey information to construction staff
- Organise survey activities so as to avoid delays to the construction works
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have
- Relevant tertiary qualification in surveying.
- Minimum of 6 years surveying experience in the construction industry.
- Self-sufficient, requiring minimal supervision.
- Can lead, organise, and motivate others.
- Competent in use of Survey packages.
- Ability to communicate with construction field staff and co-ordinate on survey issues
- Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
- Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
