Job Description:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable modules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Prepare and maintain journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions .
- Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with bankers for bank matters, and IT support team for any IT issues relating to the Oracle accounting system.
- Assist in monthly financial closing activities and year-end audit preparation.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in accountancy or related professional qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting or finance roles, with specific experience in GL, AR, AP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel (e.g. v look-up command, pivot table).
- Meticulous with an eye for detail, responsible, and have a good working attitude.
- Knowledge of Oracle will be an added advantage.
- Possess initiative and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
