Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
- Collaborate with Finance Teams across APAC and Cross - Functional Teams to collect and organize data to support the project analysis including but not limited to AR Management, Client Profitability and Cash Management.
- Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the project goals.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to project team members.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items.
- Assist in communicating project updates, status reports, and key milestones to stakeholders.
Financial Reporting
- Facilitate the Financial Reporting effort across APAC.
- Review and ensure reports are made in accordance with group accounting guideline, IFRS and J GAAP.
- Perform trend analysis and report on abnormal fluctuation.
- Perform reconciliation on key accounts including Equity and Cost of Investment.
- Ad-hoc request and collection of info for group disclosure purpose
System Maintenance
- Provide support, troubleshooting and guidance financial reporting system.
- Track and monitor system issues and work with IT to resolve any tickets promptly within timeline.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify system improvements and enhancements, recommend, and implement solution.
- Participate in business transformation and improve on business solutions to align with future IT roadmap.
- Execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
- Address any issues or discrepancies identified during testing.
- Develop user manual and conduct user training.
Policy and Process Management
- Actively participate in developing and fine tuning the Group policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control and compliance with rules and regulations.
- Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and financial policies.
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide input based on business needs and requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Document existing business processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Assist in creating process maps, diagrams, and documentation to facilitate understanding and analysis.
- Understand business processes and gather requirements from stakeholders for projects and change requests.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate business requirement to development teams and ensure that solutions align with business requirements and are delivered within established timelines.
Requirements:
- Diploma and/or Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in audit, advisory or commercial accounting.
- Experience in ERP system and Consolidation System, especially Tagetik, Hyperion or Oracle FCCS.
- Independent, resourceful, self-starter and takes initiatives.
- Excellent project management skillsets.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
