Job Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview: You will be part of the Finance team that manages the finance operations of a company in the building materials manufacturing and construction industry with a global-wide presence. As an Assistant accountant, you will manage the finance operations to oversee the daily operations and month-end and Quarterly-end financial reporting and put in place proper governance and robust internal control measures, and provide business analysis for management reporting, to achieve financial excellence for the company. Also, your key role as this position to be internal auditor function for Singapore and other ASEAN operations.


Job Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and schedules
  • Assist in the review and monitoring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Management of financial and accounting operations. Cash flow management
  • Analysis of accounts
  • Audit support. Including impairment, taxation and transfer pricing.
  • Any other assignment as assigned by Management
  • Communicate with main bank

· Dealing with new investment and loan projects: preparation of documentation, communication between head office and investing company representatives.

· Conduct internal audit based on J-Sox compliance.


Job Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• 3 years+ experience working Listed company

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Possess experience of working in an internal audit role in construction industry with certificate such as ISO14001.

• Contribute to a positive and cooperative working environment by fulfilling own responsibilities and providing support to co- workers to achieve team goals.

• Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.

[Language] English-Business Level; [Japanese] Business High (N-1) or Native Level due to Internal Reporting to HQ will be done in Japanese and 80%+ of your communication to key decision makers internally at the Group level are conducted in Japanese.
