Director of Business Development (OHS)

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:-

  • Oversee and be accountable for the full spectrum of Room Sales and Catering Sales Management and Operations for the Hotel.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Foster strong relationships with key industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Champion innovation and guide the team through change management initiatives.
  • Manage total revenue management, ensuring optimal pricing strategies.
  • Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Manage and direct staff including recruitment, selection, and development to achieve Company goals and objectives.
  • Train and develop the sales and marketing team to achieve service excellence.
  • Cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department.
  • Track team performance and implement incentive programs to drive results.
  • Lead service innovation initiatives to elevate the guest experience.
  • Develop and oversee financial budgets and plans to achieve profitability goals.
  • Capitalize on technological advancements to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership during crisis situations.

Requirements:-

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years in similar position or equivalent capacity.
  • Ability to lead and delegate.
  • Highly motivated leader and results driven.
  • Excellent communicator with good management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and problem resolving skills.
