Position Overview: Home-grown Company dealing in Marine Fire Protection Systems and Automation Services are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Manager/Senior Sales Executive for a full-time on-site position based in Singapore. The Sales Manager/Senior Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of sales operations, including technical sales, technical support, customer service and sales initiatives.


Responsibilities:

• Promote all services that the company is offering.

• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirement

• Marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing event

• Meeting with customers, shipyards, and Naval Organizations for to follow up on ongoing and new inquiry

• Mainly canvassing for sales from Ship Manager and Owners. Prepare quotations and follow up to the customer's PO and other duties assigned.

• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues for project and service works to meet customer needs.

• Conduct marketplace intelligence and monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

• Continue to develop existing clientele with new quality clients and identify possible clients that might benefit and can contribute to the company’s growth and further success

• Manage clients and ensure they are highly satisfied with offered services

• Achieving targets and company growth

• Any other ad-hoc duties


Requirements:

• To have diploma and min 3-5 years sales experience in marine industry in Singapore and knowledge of Marine Products is preferred

• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal & writing).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel as and when needed.

• Strong commercial acumen, the ability to converse and influence decision makers

• Good network of operations people in shipping companies will be a strong advantage

• Self- starter, pro-active and result oriented with a hunger for success

• Ideal position for a candidate who is ambitious and prefers to work in an independent home-grown environment.
