At SeedRock, you will be part of the accounting team supporting the financial and reporting activities of the Company.


Job Description

- Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), General Ledger, Fixed assets and bank transactions;

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing

- Prepare supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor; coordinate the audit process

- Identify financial reporting issues and initiate measures to enhance the reporting process

- General Ledger reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;

- Support month-end and year-end close processes.

- Assist in company payroll matters and business claims


- Perform the full range of company corporate secretarial matters and ensure statutory and compliance issues are met

- Preparation of board meetings and AGMs documentation (eg. minutes, resolutions and articles of association)

- Maintain proper updates of companies’ registers and statutory records

- Prepare and submit Quarterly GST return;

- Lodging changes that required to be updated with ACRA upon director’s approval

- Attend to auditors’ queries in preparation for statutory audit

- Prepare Annual Returns and statutory filings with ACRA and Bizfile transactions



Job Requirements

- Degree in Accountancy or finance related disciplines with relevant professional qualification (eg. CA, CPA, ACCA)

- Holding or currently pursuing corporate secretarial qualifications (SAICSA) would be advantageous

- Well-versed in accounting transactions in accordance to accounting standards

- Strong computer skills in Microsoft excel.
