Associate Engineering E&I (Senior Technician)
A E&I technician is responsible for reliability and maintenance of the equipment’s in manufacturing process, Utility and facility. Their job involves performing preventive/predictive maintenance, Calibration, Routine inspections, troubleshooting issues and repairs to ensure that all equipment and systems are in optimal working condition.
Your main responsibilities:
- Performs installation, Calibration, Servicing and repairs for the electrical, instrumentation and automation-based equipment’s, systems and facilities with adherence to site safety and quality requirements
- Conduct diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine the root cause promptly to increase the machine uptime and ensuring continuous operation
- Plan, Schedule and execute calibration and corrective maintenance for instruments to ensure minimal Production impact without any over dues
- Identify and Manage inventory for Electrical & Instruments related spares and always ensuring availability for maintenance or repairs
- Adhere to regulatory standards by diligently maintaining precise documentation of calibration activities, including thorough records of calibration, repairs and replacement tasks
- Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers and relevant departments to address E&I issues and optimize equipment performance
- Keep updated on the latest technologies and advancements in Electrical, Instrumentation and automation systems by actively participating in training programs that help improve skills and knowledge
- Opportunities for improvement in E&I and automation systems, suggesting upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Assist to Perform in testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) activities
- Supervise and oversee third party contractors where applicable
- Possessing the flexibility to work in a rotating shift schedule, over time, Standby for emergency repair after office hours/week ends and public holidays where applicable
- Able to promptly access the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher level
What you have to offer:
- NTC/ITC/Diploma in electrical or Instrumentation & Control engineering or its related field from an accredited technical institution
- 3-5 Years of experience in electrical, Instrumentation and control system maintenance, Calibration and troubleshooting preferably in a sterile manufacturing plant, Cleanroom or petrochemical environment
- Strong Electrical, Instrumentation and automation discipline knowledge together with hands-on working experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice is an advantage
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities effectively and work at the start-up environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in dynamic, cross functional matrix environment
- LEW certification will be an advantage
- Familiarity with Siemens PCS 7 platform knowledge would be an added advantage
