IT Assistant / Executive needed!!!

Location: Northeast
Working hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-1pm (Alternate Saturday)
Salary range: $1800-2500 (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities:
- Update staff attendance into database and system
- Verifies and maintains backup systems
- Maintains the Fingertips document management system
- Network maintenance
- Data retrieval and/or recovery
- Troubleshooting and maintenance
- Creates and maintains email accounts
- Liaises with vendors and purchases hardwares/software
- Installs IT related equipment (PCs, Printers and Scanners)
- Installs and maintains personal computers and printers systems in the offices, computer rooms and libraries
- Installs and maintains internet and intranet networks
- Maintains and improves on the wireless broadband networks
- Provides necessary IT support to staff
- Liaises and works with IT vendors for new project implementations such as the fingerprint system
- Provides a help desk for all staff and lecturers to request help on PC troubleshooting, new PC requests and internal movements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Able to work independently
- At least 1 year experience in the capacity of IT
- Able to work extended hours as and when necessary
