DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong operational knowledge within Freight Forwarding covering road and ocean
- This role supports day to day Ocean and Road Freight operations
- Shipment planning consists of LCL, FCL, Breakbulk, RORO etc.
- Haulage arrangements
- Customs clearance declaration
- Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer’s shipments
- Handling Import and Export shipments & documentation from A to Z
- Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfill their requirements
- Troubleshooting and attending to customer complaints/disputes.
- Troubleshooting and attending to ministry/official authority.
- Ensure all enquirers are responded to within the shortest possible time frame.
- To obtain pricing and generate complete/competitive quotation base on customer’s requirements.
- Follow up with customer, overseas agents and overseas offices on the quotation/proposal and negotiate to a closure.
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial on maintenance of customers.
- Monitor billing and ensure timely invoicing.
- Involvement in ad-hoc duties and assignments may be required from time to time
