My Client is a leading stable firm in Singapore.
We are looking for a skilled AWS Systems Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure applications maintain high availability and reliability.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement security best practices and enforce measures to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Keep abreast of the latest AWS services, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud-based services, IT operations, or vendor management.
- AWS Certification is preferred; AWS SysOps Certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), AWS, and/or Azure.
- Understanding of security practices and access control for managing privileged access in testing and production environments.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, system backup, and restore processes.
- Proactive with strong multitasking abilities, capable of independent work and effective teamwork.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
