Job Description
The successful candidates will contribute to research activities related to the development and evaluation of a comprehensive framework for design for safety management in a megaproject. The candidate shall work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct academic research and administrative work. Specific job activities may include:
• Conduct literature review on topics related to the project;
• Design interview, focus group discussion, and questionnaire survey;
• Collect and evaluate documents and data obtained from the collaborators and respondents;
• Conduct qualitative using NVIVO and quantitative analyses;
• Liaise with collaborators on meetings and data collections;
• Write research papers, reports and proposals;
• And any other tasks required by the principal investigator.
Job Requirements
• A PhD within the fields of construction management, safety management, engineering management, civil and structural engineering, or related field;
• Knowledge of design or safety and related concepts;
• Experience in civil and structural design processes;
• Strong qualitative analysis and mixed methods competencies;
• Versatile with statistical methods for analysis of questionnaire data;
• Willing to learn, independent, leadership qualities, team player, professional, proactive, communicative, and responsible; and
• Strong English writing and communication skills.
