Responsible for taking off measurement, monthly progress claim and final account
· Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender and quotation
· Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects
· Sourcing supplies and sub-contractors for quotation for tendering
· Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations
· Carry out site measurement
· Evaluation and certificate of sub-contractors' progress payments
· Performing site visits, assessments and projections
· Liaising with site personnel, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
· Attending meetings with main-contractors pertaining to site work, contracts matter, costings and invoicing and billings works
· Reviewing and advising the Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specification.
· Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
· Scrutinizing material costs and contracts to ensure the best deals.
· Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
· Keeping track of materials and ordering .
· Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets
· Other quantity surveying related duties
Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent from a recognized Institution/University
· Minimum 3 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Independent, willing to learn and work under pressure
· Good technical knowledge and well versed in interpretation of drawings.
· Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
· An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverable within set time & expectations.
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin
