Job purpose:
· To effectively implement pricing strategies/structures created by senior management in close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Understand the types of containers, vessels, and movement of containers.
- Clear knowledge of the Liner/Container business.
- Effectively handle rate requests from different agents in the SeaLead network.
- Effectively consider various factors for special rate approvals (competitor rates, shipper’s current and past volume support, overall booking, and inventory position).
- Maintain updated MRGs in SAP and relevant systems/portals.
- Approve and update the SRR.
- Maintain a repository of market rates and keep a record of fluctuations.
- Close coordination with stakeholders (Sales, OPS, EQU).
- Read contracts and understand the terms and conditions (in conjunction with Documentation & Claims).
- Keep the GM-Trade and Global Director-Trade appraised of revenue movements.
- Maintain close coordination with Trade Management stakeholders.
- Contribute material for the GD-Trade’s monthly report.
- Ad hoc tasks and reporting related to Trade Management - as required.

Education requirements:
Degree/Diploma or relevant experience.
Language requirements:
English – Fluent (required)
Background and experience:
- Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant experience within a Liner/NVOCC environment.
- Knowledge of pricing, revenue management.
- Knowledge of budgeting, revenue/volume reporting.

- Time management and organisational skills
- Analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills when under pressure and tight work deadlines
- Excellent excel skills.
