Responsibilities:
- Provides 2nd Lvl technical support for all Diesel systems (BR4000, 2000). Focus electronics, automation (Foxbat, EnergetIQ, Dive etc.) and software support, simulations.
- Depending on the scope of supply, participate in project technical specifications on Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities, Studies, Operability, Commissioning in design and Commissioning Procedures.
- Participate and contribute to review various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents, and highlight the shortfalls through vigorous review process and address these shortfalls with the sales/project team.
- Participates in meetings with the project team to review issues and provide support where necessary.
- Evaluate engine/gensets operating data. Troubleshoots complex automation and electronic issues.
- Work with Project Team to verify and close out of product/operation issues associated with the package.
- Supports Key Accounts, network and 1st Levels to support on-site or remotely for product issues investigation.
- Attends to technical enquiries and work with Factory's Level 3 and R&D as required.
- Organizes investigations and follows through until resolution.
- Analyze, ascertain, and perform differentiation that the defects are warrantable or chargeable.
- To work with internal Project team and Customer Support Team to handle on defects claims.
Requirement
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or related Engineering Disciplines
- Min. 5-10 years of related work experience on Power Generators or Original Equipment Manufacturer Generator sets. Data center facility knowledge a plus.
- Possess working experience related to testing of LV/ MV Switchboards, power generators. Preferrable possess a LEW license Grade 7/8/9.
- Capable of testing and calibration of Generator Control Panel and assist 3rdparty supplier on Electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting and clear understanding of system specification.
- Familiar with the Generator sets project testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies. E.g., SS, ISO 3046, 8528 and etc..
