Maintain financial controls of Singapore Branch (“the Branch”), ensure Tax compliance, and provide timely Regulatory as well as external and internal reporting including Financial & Management Accounting, Branch MIS and Financial Control, in conjunction with Group & Business Finance, Singapore Country Head and GM – International, to provide updates to the Branch and ENBD Group Head Office (“The Group”).

- Local Regulatory Reporting and Monitoring

Job Content
The main duties and responsibilities are:
Financial Controls & Reconciliation
- Reconcile data from source or transaction processing systems (Finacle and Calypso) to OGL
- Review Nostro reconciliation and follow up Finacle / bank statement breaks.
Treasury Control Monitoring
- Perform / review daily NOP (Net Open Position) reconciliation.
- Monitor negative / zero margin FX deals and Treasury Sales folder.
- Monitor interest movement, perform accrual sense check and follow up on exceptions.
Daily Performance Monitoring
- Prepare / review branch’s business performance and provide variance analysis to business heads.
Group Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly CBUAE regulatory returns such as large exposure, real estate report etc.
Local Regulatory Reporting and Monitoring
- Prepare / monitor MAS returns or ratios such as qualifying liabilities, minimum cash balance, minimal liquid assets, asset maintenance ratio etc.
Local Financial Statement and Audit
- Prepare Notes to local financial statements.
- Support the timely closure of audit books.
Job Requirements
Job Knowledge
- Experience in handling financial or regulatory reporting Knowledge of accounting policies / standards
- Knowledge of MAS regulations (MAS640, MAS649, MAS758)

- High degree of proficiency in MS Office (Excel) Processes strong analytical skills
- Capable in handling extensive data

Prior work experience required
- 7- 9 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in handling financial reporting or regulatory reporting
- Prior experience in financial planning and analysis will be desirable
Education and/or professional qualification
- Professional Financial Accreditation or Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
