Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of the store
- Oversees the logistics of medical consumables stocks distribution to hospital departments
- Guide and supervise the logistics officer
- Planning and forecasting of inventory
- Maintain replenishment of stock levels according to stock policies
- Review and monitor critical stocks levels and liaise with stakeholders on stockpile items
- Manages effective inventory control systems for the central and sub stores
- Plan, organise and housekeep the store and top up locations
- Perform cycle counts and lead the stock take exercise
- Coordinate with Procurement for optimisation of stock holding and avoiding stock outs
- Perform timely and accurate goods receiving, transfers and issuance
- Provide department reports and statistical data for improvement initiatives and regulatory purposes
- Ad hoc projects assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- Degree holder or Diploma holder with relevant healthcare background
- At least 3 years’ experience in Inventory management
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in writing
- A self-driven, hands on and motivated individual who can contribute positively within a team environment
- Proactive team player with good listening skills
- Possess analytical skills and is proficient in Microsoft Excel
