Main Responsibilities
- Review and verify appropriateness of inpatient medication orders and discharge/24-Hour Medical Urgency Clinic prescriptions and perform interventions as appropriate.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication supply and inventory control.
- Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and dispensed within target turnaround time.
- Provide drug information to other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and oversee smooth operation during shift.
- Ensure performance indicators are met and pharmaceutical care is provided according to hospital SOPs and accreditation/ legal standards.
- Assist in hospital projects or quality and safety initiatives when required
Main Requirements
- Possess a recognised Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy).
- Possess valid practising pharmacist license.
- Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital inpatient setting (excluding pre-registration).
- Able to work independently, including handling enquiries or reviewing medication orders of patients in critical care.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Able to commit to permanent night shift schedule.
