Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect all marine and coastal construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on work progress, compliance, and any deviations from the plans.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant environmental and safety regulations.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities, inspections, and incidents.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in coastal and marine construction projects.
- Certified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with accreditation from the Singapore Institute of Engineers (IES) or other relevant bodies.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to coastal and marine works.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
