Job Description:
Review IEPs and Students' Progress
- Regularly review progress reports submitted by teachers to track student achievements and challenges.
- Identify areas where students are excelling or may need additional support or intervention.
Coach/Guide Teachers
- Assist teachers in selecting and utilizing appropriate teaching materials that enhance student learning experiences.
- Offer practical advice and techniques for effective classroom management to create a positive and conducive learning environment.
Record Coaching Sessions and Class Observations
- Maintain detailed records of each coaching session, including the focus areas, feedback provided, and action plans developed.
- Ensure that observations of classroom teaching are systematically recorded, noting strengths, areas for improvement, and specific examples of effective practices.
Review Lesson Plans
- Review lesson plans submitted by teachers to ensure they are well-structured, aligned with curriculum standards, and include clear learning objectives.
Support Internal/External Events
- Generate ideas for external educational events, such as learning journeys, field trips, holiday programs, hand educational tours.
- Assist in planning and executing these events to ensure they are enriching and align with the objectives/goals.
- Coordinate with PIC (e.g. Head of Operations & Partnerships/Centre Supervisor) to facilitate these learning journeys.
- Ensure that the events are safe, well-organized, and provide significant educational value to students.
Requirements :
- Poses a Bachelor's Degree in English or Education related field.
- At least 3 years teaching experience in Special Needs related field.
- Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a good command of spoken and written English
- Priority will be given to individuals with experience in Special Needs Education. On the job training will be provided.
