Shipping Executive (Sea freight/ Export/ $3500) Ref: GAS

An established MNC in the shipping industry is seeking to hire passionate and suitable candidates to join the growing team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate sea export shipments
• Ensure accurate and prompt production of required export documents and declarations e.g. customs declaration, Trade-net operations, Bill of Lading etc
• Coordinate and resolve any shipping issues; answer customers’ queries and complaints promptly
• Work closely with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, trucking partners and overseas counterparts to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of shipments
• Keep customers updated on their orders and that their requirements are met
• Ensure related charges/ invoices are billed and collected from the relevant parties and that all transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Follow up closely with internal stakeholders e.g. warehouse etc on any shortage, damaged cargo
• Verify vendor costings and prepare payment vouchers
• To liaise with ocean carriers and master coleaders on shipment booking and checking on schedules etc
• Other relevant tasks as required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma and above in Logistics/ Supply Chain or equivalent
• Knowledge in ocean freight forwarding and permit declaration will be advantageous
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous with an eye for details
