Job Description:
· Assists to formulate, implement and review plans for the development of GROs and the
community.
· Attends monthly meetings of the GROs assigned and takes follow -up actions.
· Acts as a catalyst to encourage and assist the GROs to plan and implement community projects.
· Provides administrati ve and logistical support and guidance to the GROs to facilitate effective
implementation of their activities.
· Co-ordinates the recruitment, appointment and reappointment of members of the GROs.
· Explains government policies, facilitates discussion and channels feedback to appropriate parties.
· Mobilises residents to participate in national campaigns and projects
· Assists to submit progress reports on the GROs, provide feedback and recommend changes and
improvements, thereby facilitating communication and co-ordination.
· Assists to supervise and guide staff in the Constituency Office.
· Initiates marketing/promotion efforts to develop and promote CC programmes to meet targets set.
- Assists Constituency Managers in organising community outreach and projects
- Provides information and handles enquiries on CC services to the general public.
- Promotes CC membership scheme/activities/courses/events
Administration
· Ensures the proper accounting and cash management of the GROs.
· Monitors the budgetary requirements and expenditure controls of the GROs.
· Ensures timely preparation of monthly and yearly statements of accounts of CC -based committees
for the committees’ endorsement.
· Ensures the Treasurer of the non CC-based committees carry out timely preparation, approval and
submission as required of monthly and yearly statements of accounts.
Business Development
· Reviews and evaluates the relevance of all CC courses in meeting the recreational, social and
educational needs of the residents. Submits evaluation reports and findings to committees on a
regular basis.
· Plans and designs marketing strategies to develop and promote CC courses.
· Identifies and builds positive working relationships with external parties to promote interesting and
novel courses and programmes at the CC.
· Provides supervision and guidance to the Constituency Support Officers to facilitate effective
implementation of their courses and the day -to-day operati ons at the counter.
· Supervises Constituency Support Officers in handling feedback, complaints and enquiries of public
professionally.
· Supervises and guides the staff in administering the Community Centre/Club Management System
to maintain the membership/facilities and courses data.
Operations
· Coordinates with Facility Manager/Facility Executive from Logistic Works Division to work with
Managing Agent (MA) to upkeep the facility of the CC.
· Oversees the maintenance, security and housekeeping (cleaning, pest control and horti culture
services) of CC.
· Coordinates among the CC Management Committ ee, Co -users of CC, MA and PA HQ for all works
and services carry out in the CC building.
· Ensures MA’s service standards are met.
· Conduct inspections daily to ensure that the CC is clean and feedback on the defects of CCs at
regular intervals to ensure established standards are met.
· Follow up on replies, reminders, and queries on MA/maintenance matters, which are outstanding
and requiring acti ons/confi rmation.
· Performs any other matters related to the housekeeping, security, and maintenance of CCs.
· Attends regular meeting to ensure MA’s service standards are met.
Working Arrangement:
Contract Durati on: 6 Months (1 Oct 2024 – 31 Mar 2025)
Working Hours: 5 Day (flexible) work week (4 weekdays 1 weekend)
Locati on: Tampines
Salary: $3000-$3300/Month
