Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance functions related to product and process quality, maintaining compliance with government agencies, aviation authorities, and customer requirements.
- Establish quality procedures and control instructions to ensure adherence to standards.
- Manage customer complaints, update standard operating procedures, and coordinate training and meetings.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and suppliers to address non-conformance activities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions to minimize costs associated with poor quality.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing inspection reports.
- Assist QA Manager in ensuring all equipment is calibrated before use.
- Conduct statistical analysis on overall production output and evaluate in-house and customer reject rates.
- Conduct internal audits to assess quality systems, products, and processes according to ISO9001/AS9100/ISO14001 standards.
- Perform additional QA functions as needed.
Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills:
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Proficient in computer literacy.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing QA Environment.
- Knowledgeable about ISO9001/AS9100 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System requirements.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor Certification.
- Familiarity with audits involving special chemical processes would be advantageous.
