Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality audits on maintenance and workshop operations to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Supervise workshop operations to ensure jobs meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Monitor task completion within allocated time and budget, reporting deviations with analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure availability of tools and equipment.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate manpower and materials for efficient job execution.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of workshop equipment and materials.
- Uphold good housekeeping practices within the workshop environment.
- Ensure orders are completed on schedule and according to committed delivery dates.
- Continuously follow up on work-related issues and resolve them promptly.
- Review inspection and maintenance records to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Report work progress and any issues to management promptly.
- Initiate purchase requests for direct and indirect materials and services required by the operations team.
- Monitor and update workshop inventory regularly.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements:
- Professional Certificate/NITEC in Civil, Construction, Structural, or equivalent field.
- Experience in leading a team of workers.
- Proficiency in managing store and logistics operations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Meticulous, organized, reliable, and capable of handling work pressure effectively.
- Ability to update schedules promptly and maintain timeliness in task completion.
