Job Purpose
To support the Club in contract and agreement administration, work with General Manager on preparing disciplinary proceedings, review and assisting with drafting changes to Club Constitution and By-Laws. You will be expected to cover a range of administrative, secretarial and paralegal duties to support the various departments in the club.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Club / Membership Manager in drafting documents pertaining to disciplinary Proceedings, contract / agreement matters
- Review and draft changes to Club Constitution and By-laws
- Handle and provide advice on legal and regulatory affairs
- Review, draft, negotiate and advise to Management and the various departments within the Company
- Work with external lawyers with respect to litigation as and when required
- Conduct relevant legal and regulatory searches and staying abreast of updates relevant to the Club
- Ensure legal documents are compiled and maintained accordingly.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
- Any other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management
- Others:
- Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace
- Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you
- Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Law diploma or law degree for Paralegal/Legal Executive or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of paralegal or contract management experiences
