Job Description
1. Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
2. Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality, image etc.
3. Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already in the stores.
4. Negotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best outcome for all parties.
5. Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget.
6. Work closely with relevant internal and external parties on activities to build brand awareness and to drive sales for existing products.
7. Maintain trust relationships with suppliers to for better product assortment, costs and support for marketing programs.
8. Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to remain up-to-date with the market trends.
Requirements
* Degree in Business/Retail Management or its equivalent.
* At least 2 years merchandising experience.
* Knowledge in Ladies Fashion will be advantageous.
* Possess good communication and negotiation skills.
Job Details & Benefits:
* Report directly to Division Merchandising Manager
* Working Hours: Monday ~ Friday 9.00 am - 6.00 pm (flexi work hours available)
* Work Location: Isetan Scotts Office (Near Orchard MRT)
